CBN Oil 15% – Cannabinol (cannabinol)
“CBN Oil 15% – Cannabinol (cannabinol). Sedative power in every drop.”
CBN oil (or CBN drops or CBN hemp oil) is a product derived from the cannabis plant, where the carrier of the active substances of the CBN extract is plant oil (in the case of our oils, we use MCT oil). This is because CBN is (like other cannabinoids) fat-soluble, and consumption together with fats maximizes its effectiveness.

Details
Cannabinol (cannabinol) - CBN is a substance from the cannabinoid class found in plants of the Cannabis genus. It is a metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), meaning it is formed through the gradual degradation of THC in the presence of oxygen. It acts as a weak agonist on cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 with lower affinity compared to THC. The psychoactive effects are similar to those of THC; however, a significantly larger dose is required to achieve them.
Cannabinol is a cannabinoid isolated from the Cannabis plant, which is a metabolite of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and has potential immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory effects. Cannabinol preferentially binds to the G-protein coupled cannabinoid receptor CB2, which is mainly expressed on various immune cells such as T-cells, B-cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Stimulation of CB2 receptors by cannabinol may induce apoptosis in these cells and inhibit the production of various cytokines. Cannabinol shows minimal affinity for CB1 and has a weak effect on the central nervous system.

It should be mentioned right away that CBN does not have psychoactive effects. On the other hand, it is most often associated with a body effect leading to drowsiness.
Current science attributes the sedative effects of CBN to its ability to activate cannabinoid receptors CB2.
Positive effects of CBN have also been shown in relation to the regulation of the immune system. One of the most frequently mentioned studies compares the effects of this cannabinoid to pharmaceutical sedatives, such as diazepam. This conclusion was reached by researchers from the SteepHill laboratory during tests on mouse subjects: “Consumption of a dose of 2.5 to 5 milligrams of CBN provides a sedative and body-relaxing effect equivalent to a dose of 5 to 10 milligrams of the pharmaceutical sedative diazepam.
If all these substances are administered in the correct ratio and dosage, they represent a very effective remedy for promoting sleep.
The effect is active for 5 to 6 hours.
