CBG Oil 10% Full-Spectrum
“CBG Oil – 10%. Every drop brings balance and well-being.”
CBG oil (also referred to as CBG drops or CBG hemp oil) is the name given to a product derived from the hemp plant, in which the carrier of the active substances of the CBG extract is a vegetable oil (in the case of our oils we use MCT oil). This is because CBG (like other cannabinoids) is fat-soluble, and consuming it together with fats maximises its effectiveness.

Product description and active compounds:
What is CBG?
CBG is the abbreviation of the English name cannabigerol. This compound is one of more than a hundred cannabinoids, a group of substances that also includes THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
In unbred hemp, CBG is the third most abundant cannabinoid.
CBG is formed from CBGA (cannabigerolic acid), which serves as the basic building block for a whole range of other compounds such as CBD, THC or other cannabinoids.
What effects does it have?
The broad spectrum of CBG's properties stems from its ability to bind to receptors across a wide range of tissues and organs and thereby modulate inflammatory responses and cellular processes. Among other things, cannabigerol — just like CBD — binds weakly to the CB1 endocannabinoid receptor. These receptors are found (among other places) in the brain, and their activation produces the well-known psychoactive effects most commonly associated with THC. Thanks to this weak binding, cannabigerol does not activate the CB1 receptors — and it also blocks THC molecules from binding, thereby dampening their psychotropic effect.
So far, unlike other cannabinoids, relatively few studies have explored the effects of cannabigerol. Most of them were, moreover, conducted on animal models or in laboratories. The results of the studies nevertheless make us optimistic.
CBG and chronic inflammatory bowel disease
According to the results of an Italian study from 2013, cannabigerol shows the ability to help suppress inflammatory bowel diseases and thus relieve their symptoms. People with chronic inflammatory bowel problems often suffer from long-term diarrhoea and abdominal pain, blood in the stool and weight loss. These diseases, which include for example Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, have something in common: the intestines are attacked by the body's own immune system. Treating these inflammations is quite difficult and consists of relieving the symptoms. In most cases hormonal corticosteroid medicines are used, but these have a number of serious side effects: increased blood sugar levels and a possible risk of diabetes, altered body-fat distribution, skin problems, increased appetite. In the study mentioned, CBG was able to restore the protection of intestinal cells against dangerous free radicals (which can cause, for example, tumour growth) and to suppress the inflammatory response. The anti-inflammatory ability of CBG is confirmed by further studies as well.
Multiple sclerosis and other neurodegenerative diseases
Multiple sclerosis is a serious disease in which the immune system attacks nerve cells and causes the degradation of their protective layer, myelin. There is a reduction in, or even loss of, the conductivity of the affected nerves; this leads to muscle weakness, problems with sensitivity and a decline in mental abilities. As the disease progresses, people with multiple sclerosis become confined to a wheelchair and their ability to take care of themselves declines. There is as yet no cure for the disease. Certain preparations can, however, slow the development of the illness. As with other inflammatory diseases, corticosteroids are also used to suppress the immune system. Cannabigerol could be a promising medicine. Two studies, from 2012 and 2014, demonstrated the ability of modified CBG to protect nerves from damage by the immune system. In mice, the application of CBG was able to restore motor functions up to a state of normal mobility and to markedly reduce damage to the nerve sheaths. The neuroprotective function of cannabigerol could also be applied in other diseases associated with nerve damage: in Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). A 2019 in-vitro experiment pointed to the possibility of improving nerve protection with CBG by adding CBD. According to the study's results, this mixture also has higher neuroprotective properties than cannabidiol alone.
Pain relief
CBG has a similar mechanism of action to Ibalgin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers. It is therefore possible that cannabigerol could become an alternative to these medicines. According to an older study, CBG is even more effective against pain than THC.
Diabetes (diabetes mellitus)
A 2018 study pointed to the possibility of using a hemp extract (with a high content of CBG and CBD) to reduce the activity of aldose reductase and thus relieve the damage caused to the body by diabetes. The enzyme aldose reductase is involved in the conversion of sugars in cells, which leads to the typical health problems of diabetics: neuropathy (and the associated pain), damage to the kidneys and retina (which can even lead to blindness) or the development of cataracts. The main advantage of CBG and other cannabinoids is, however, their ability to pass through cell membranes. The components of the hemp extract would thus reach the cells of the retina, something with which current medicines for suppressing aldose reductase have great difficulty. Conventional medicines also have relatively serious side effects (digestive problems, increased levels of liver enzymes). Tumour diseases A number of studies speak about the abilities of cannabigerol to suppress tumour growth — in human cells in vitro. Among other things, CBG has been shown to suppress tumour growth in: the breast (CBD is, according to the study, nevertheless more effective), the prostate (together with CBD), the colon, the stomach, the skin (mouse cells). The exact mechanism of action is not known. It is, however, speculated that CBG triggers so-called cell death (apoptosis) in tumour cells. Research on animal models from 2014 pointed to the possibility of using CBG not only to treat tumours, but also to prevent their formation. The application of cannabigerol slowed the development of colon cancer in mice. Great potential is also offered by CBG's ability to stimulate appetite. Loss of appetite is precisely what a large proportion of oncology patients struggle with.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma arises from damage to the optic nerve caused by high intraocular pressure. The eye compresses the blood vessels leading to the nerve and impairs its supply of necessary nutrients. In affected people (several tens of millions worldwide), vision deteriorates as the nerve gradually dies. Its regenerative abilities are, moreover, limited, so the damage is practically irreversible. A 2008 study points to the possibility of treating glaucoma by reducing the pressure inside the eye with CBG.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease that affects 2 to 4% of people. It is a genetically determined disease caused by the rapid growth of skin cells and their premature keratinisation. These factors lead to frequent inflammation. With psoriasis, reddened, scaly patches form on the skin. In some patients, joint inflammation also occurs (psoriatic arthritis). Cannabigerol shows the ability to slow the excessive multiplication of skin cells. It could thus be an alternative to conventional psoriasis medicines, which have a number of side effects (including the corticosteroids mentioned several times already).
Urination problems
An in-vitro experiment showed that CBG could be a promising remedy for relieving urination problems (inability to urinate, incontinence, etc.). This is also confirmed by numerous accounts of people who use hemp precisely for these problems.
Bone thinning (osteoporosis)
According to an English study from 2007, CBG stimulates the activity of certain components of the immune system that activate the renewal of bone tissue. Cannabigerol thus offers a therapeutic use in bone thinning, which a large number of seniors and post-menopausal women struggle with.
The active compounds in our oils are dissolved in MCT oil. When using full-spectrum and broad-spectrum oils, the so-called entourage effect occurs, in which the cannabinoids mutually support each other in their therapeutic potential (and fewer drops are needed to achieve an effect). CBG oils are dripped under the tongue and are available in concentrations from 5 to 20%. Thanks to oral administration, cannabigerol reaches the bloodstream relatively quickly and begins to act after just 20 minutes. Its effect lasts several hours. This way of using it is suitable above all for intestinal problems, but via the blood the cannabigerol also reaches other tissues and organs.
CBG oil can be used for skin problems and aching muscles. Application is simple — just apply the cream to the affected area and let it work. The ointments must not be used internally.
Side effects of CBG products. No studies have yet been conducted on the side effects of using CBG products. According to user accounts, however, CBG is well tolerated. You should be cautious if you are taking any medicines. CBG should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women — it is not clear what effect cannabigerol may have on a developing foetus or infant.
