“Discover the power of nature with Lion's Mane – your path to mental well-being!”
Lion's Mane (Hericium) is a rare spiky mushroom that grows in the autumn on the wood of deciduous trees, primarily beeches and oaks. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is one of the most popular mushrooms.

It also contains significant amounts of amino acids, especially L-alanineor L-leucine, which are essential amino acids, and linoleic acid, which has antibacterial properties. Lion's Mane is also notable for its content of B and D vitamins, minerals and trace elements – such as magnesium, sodium, potassium, zinc, selenium, or copper.

Details
50% POLYSACCHARIDE EXTRACT IN CAPSULES
Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a relatively rare mushroom that parasitizes on injured trunks of deciduous trees, most commonly on oaks and beeches. It got its name due to its spiky appearance, which resembles more of a sea coral than a mushroom. Its appearance has also earned it other names, such as hedgehog mushroom, lion's mane, or old man's beard. In Japan, you would find it under the name yamabushitake.
The mushroom most commonly grows in Asia and North America, but it is also found across Europe, although significantly rarer. In China, you might even encounter Lion's Mane in vegetarian cuisine, where it is used as a substitute for lamb meat. Previously, the mushroom was more of a rarity, which is why it was reserved only for royal families.
So what makes Lion's Mane interesting? Besides its high content of polysaccharides, such as beta-glucans, it also contains a significant amount of amino acids, proteins, B and D vitamins, and minerals (potassium, zinc, and iron).
USAGE AND DOSAGE
We recommend taking 1 capsule of extract daily for the first week, then increasing the dose to 2 capsules daily. Take the capsule with a sufficient amount of water, ideally on an empty stomach, 20 minutes before breakfast.
SIDE EFFECTS
No known side effects have been reported for Lion's Mane, although mild digestive issues may occur. Avoid it if you are allergic to mushrooms. It is also not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children. In such cases, consult your doctor.
SUITABLE COMBINATIONS
Lion's Mane pairs very well with other mushrooms such as Reishi, Shiitake, or Cordyceps.
REDUCES SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
Up to one third of people living in developed countries experience symptoms of anxiety and depression, which is becoming an increasingly common condition for many of us. There are many causes of anxiety and depression, with chronic inflammation being a major triggering factor. Lion's Mane has pronounced anti-inflammatory effects, which reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
SPEEDS UP RECOVERY AFTER NERVOUS SYSTEM INJURY
Injuries to the brain or spinal cord can have lasting consequences. They often cause paralysis or loss of mental functions, and their treatment can take a long time. In fact, it has been shown that hericium shortens recovery time by 23–41% and can also help reduce the severity of brain damage after a stroke.
PROTECTS AGAINST ULCERS IN THE DIGESTIVE TRACT
Ulcers can form anywhere in the digestive tract, including the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Stomach ulcers are often caused by two main factors: an overgrowth of a bacterium called H. pylori and damage to the stomach lining, which is often caused by long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.). Hericium is more effective than traditional acid-reducing medications in preventing stomach ulcers caused by alcohol - and without negative side effects. It can also reduce inflammation and prevent tissue damage in other areas of the intestines. Hericium reduces symptoms of ulcerative colitis and improves quality of life.
REDUCES THE RISK OF HEART DISEASE
Major risk factors for heart disease include obesity, high triglycerides, high cholesterol levels, and an increased tendency to form blood clots. Hericium improves fat metabolism and lowers triglyceride levels, thus reducing the risk of heart disease.
HELPS WITH DIABETES SYMPTOMS
Chronically high blood sugar levels eventually lead to complications such as kidney disease, nerve damage in the hands and feet, and vision loss. Hericium significantly lowers blood sugar levels and even increases antioxidant levels.
HELPS WITH RECOVERY AFTER CANCER DISEASES
Hericium slows down tumor growth while speeding up recovery after cancer diseases.
REDUCES INFLAMMATION AND OXIDATIVE STRESS
Chronic inflammation and oxidative stress are the origins of many modern diseases, including heart diseases, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. Hericium contains powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds that can help reduce the impact of these diseases due to its high antioxidant content.
STRENGTHENS THE IMMUNE SYSTEM
A strong immune system protects the body from bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. Hericium boosts immunity by increasing the activity of the intestinal immune system, which protects the body from pathogens that enter the intestine through the mouth or nose.
However, anyone who is allergic or sensitive to mushrooms should avoid Hericium, as it is a type of mushroom.
Benefits of Hericium:
- Protects against Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and dementia
- Relieves symptoms of depression and anxiety

- Reduces the risk of heart disease
