CBD counteracts the effects of THC
As you probably know, CBD is not psychoactive, i.e. it does not induce a state of high, but only a state of relaxation. But did you know that it actually helps with the side effects of THC such as anxiety, paranoia and memory impairment? No? Well, now you know! While there’s no known lethal dose of THC, but overdose really isn’t a pleasant thing, well, you tell me. For example, mixing CBD and THC together is a nice thing to do;
More than 113 cannabinoids are found in Cannabis.
This fact is very interesting, not many people think about it this deeply, at least we learn something.
In general, when most people think of cannabis and cannabis plants, they think of THC and CBD. However, these plants actually have more than 113 cannabinoids. The reason the other cannabinoids don’t get much attention is because THC and CBD are generally present in the highest concentrations. Therefore, most growers focus on THC and CBD content when breeding new varieties and selecting plants;
CBD does not directly stimulate CB1 and CB2 receptors;
The reason CBD is not psychoactive is because the molecules do not actually bind to the CB1 and CB2 receptors found in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Instead, they give signals to naturally occurring cannabinoids in the body to activate the receptors to do more of what they normally do.
CBD has many medicinal benefits;
You all probably already know that CBD is a first class healer, but let’s make a little list of what CBD can actually control, or at least help with;
Initial studies have found that CBD offers a number of therapeutic benefits, including:
Antiemetics (reduces nausea and vomiting)
Acts against inflammation
Anticonvulsants (suppresses seizures)
Analgesics (relieves pain)
Well just something hurts you? – Here you have CBD!
You can also give CBD to your pets;
This is also a cool thing, it’s great that CBD helps not only humans but our pets as well. But how does it actually help them?
CBD helps animals suffering from arthritis/joint pain, epilepsy, skin problems, or anxiety, for example. Doctors have historically tried to help animals through THC, but that doesn’t do the animals any good. I remember a story where a dog ate cannabis ointment and then was so out of it that the owners had to take it to the emergency room, it’s quite dangerous for animals, so keep your pets away from THC;
CBD as an addiction helper
Are you a smoker but don’t want to be? Start smoking CBD, chances are it will help you from nicotine addiction. Every time you have a craving for nicotine, take a CBD, several studies have shown that your craving for a cigarette can drop by up to 40%.
Another addiction that CBD can help with is opioid addiction;
CBD – your little heart
YES! We love CBD, but at the moment we don’t think of the phrase in the same way.
Another benefit of CBD’s antioxidant properties is their ability to reduce vascular tension and lower LDL (bad) cholesterol. Both of these components often contribute to various cardiovascular diseases. In addition, the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD can reduce tension on the heart, as well as thinning the arteries and lowering blood pressure.
